THE EFFECT OF STRUCTURED MENTORING AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ON MENTORING PROGRAM SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH COMPETITIVENESS TRANSFORMATION

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of Structured Mentoring and Knowledge Transfer on Mentoring Program Sustainability, with Competitiveness Transformation as a mediating variable, in the context of preparing participants for national-scale contact center competitions. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among 50 mentees at PT Fit Kreasi Indo, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement-model results support convergent validity and internal consistency reliability for the constructs. Structural-model testing shows that Structured Mentoring and Knowledge Transfer have positive and significant effects on Competitiveness Transformation, while their direct effects on Mentoring Program Sustainability are not statistically significant. Competitiveness Transformation has a positive and significant effect on Mentoring Program Sustainability. Descriptive indirect-effect estimates indicate potential mediation; however, the statistical significance of the specific indirect effects cannot be confirmed because bootstrapped indirect-effect statistics were not available in the output used for this manuscript. These findings highlight the importance of translating structured mentoring and knowledge-transfer practices into measurable competitive capabilities to support mentoring program sustainability.
